1. 'SMAC Stack' adoption to gain speed
 
A manufacturing comeback is being driven by SMAC — social, mobile, analytics and cloud. The SMAC Stack is becoming an essential technology tool kit for enterprises and represents the next wave for driving higher customer engagement and growth opportunities. The need to innovate is forcing cultural change within a historically conservative "if it's not broke don't fix it" industry, and SMAC is helping early adopters in the manufacturing market increase efficiencies and change.
 
2. The emergence of "Next-Shoring."
 
The rise of a more technical labour force to manage supply chain operations — combined with rising wages in Asia, higher shipping costs and the need to accelerate time to market to meet retailer and consumer demands - has led to more companies shifting their manufacturing strategies from outsourcing overseas to developing products closer to where they will be sold. "Next-shoring," as this tactic has been dubbed, allows manufacturers to increase the speed at which product is replenished on store shelves. 4. ‘Multifab’ 3D-prints a record 10 materials at once, no assembly required
 
3D printing is great, assuming that all you need to do is print one material for one purpose, and that you're okay with it taking a few tries. But the technology is still far behind where it could be in reliably producing a variety of useful objects, with no assembly required, at a cost that doesn't make you want to poke your eyes out with a 3D-printed fork. "The platform opens up new possibilities for manufacturing, giving researchers and hobbyists alike the power to create objects that has previously been difficult or even impossible to print."
 
5. "Smog sucking vacuum cleaner"
 
This is a lightweight, modular system cleaning 30,000 cubic meters of air per hour and creating smog-free bubbles, in public spaces. The tower cleans the air by sucking in smog from the top and the filtered air is released through six-sided vents. This smog-sucking vacuum cleaner runs on just 1,400 watts, which is no more electricity than a water boiler. The enabler is a low-energy ionization technology, which is patented.
 
6. Regenerative heat exchanger
 
Several heat-exchanging chambers, each incorporating two rotary gas valves, are connected to the hot gas flow and the cold compressed flow. The valves sequence the flows around the chambers so that the regenerator materials, example: Ceramic honeycomb, are alternately heated and then cooled.
 
7. Quartet Valves System for Gasoline and Diesel engines
 
It’s to make the head of the Cylinder head movable and, in this case we have the wizard Cylinder head which give the exhaust gas the high capability of escaping with four holes of the entire valves situated on top of the Cylinder head and for the admission of the air it’s replaced with entire moving of the roof of the Cylinder head as one big valve of enhanced admission of the air, this valve when it open it have the four holes of the places of escapement valves with the outline of the entire big valve which constitute the top of the cylinder.
